A masterful blend of spices and salt, cold smoking and curing in the fresh, pure air of Alto Adige: that’s what makes the Senfter Speck so special.

Since 1857 Senfter has not only been producing one of the finest charcuteries of Alto Adige, but it has also enabled Italians to discover one of the most typical tastes of the Italian tradition.

This shield-shaped speck is produced entirely in Alto Adige according to traditional methods. Here the best raw materials, experienced craftsmen and cutting-edge technology, together with respect for the environment and the planet, serve to guarantee a quality product with a high added value. That is why you can enjoy typical Dolomite flavours and fragrances every day.

The right wine is fundamental. The best match is a red wine, Schiava.

This grape variety is typical of the area and produces a light, ruby red wine that is low in tannins.

Slightly fruity, with a hint of bitter almonds, it is perfect with the Senfter Speck.
