Since 1857 Senfter has changed a great deal: from a little butcher’s shop to a large international company, while always preserving the high quality of the products from Alto Adige.
At the beginning there was a small butcher’s shop in via del Mercato Vecchio in San Candido. In the course of the 20th century the little shop became an international, but tradition-oriented company.
Thanks to Franz Senfter and his family, speck and other products from Alto Adige are known all over the world.
Their philosophy is based on a mix of tradition and innovation.
Continuous improvement has been pursued not only in production, but also in communication. 2017 will mark a digital turning point: a new website, new social channels and TV. To celebrate its 160th anniversary Senfter and speck will be featured on TV together with Alessandro Borghese.
The chef will also be the special guest of the social table, a unique event that is being staged to celebrate Senfter and all Italian excellences.
Moreover, from April to June 2017 some supermarkets will be hosting a Senfter in-store cooking demonstration: several chefs will show how to use speck for your recipes.
